Production Coordinator

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Production Coordinator is to be accountable for ensuring that all customer orders are processed to completion correctly and in a timely manner. The position ensures accurate receipt, inventory and coordination of goods coming into the warehouse, and tracking of production man hours. Professionalism, consistency, organization and thoroughness are essential in interacting with the customers and co-workers daily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Communicate customer inquiries and new orders with management.
• Actively pursue and obtain all order specifics prior to submitting for production.
• Help schedule orders and personnel for production, and track to ensure proper utilization of facilities for efficient and accurate production.
• Inventory warehouse materials needed to complete jobs and supplies.
• Assist in the identification and verification of vendor compliance specifications.
• Help generate tickets, labels, and forms needed to complete jobs.
• Assist with shipping, deliveries and associated paperwork.
• Help hire hourly employees and process weekly payroll hours.
• Responsible for quality control documentation.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish and be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
• PC skills with comprehensive working knowledge of Word, Excel, etc.
• High school graduate with at least three years experience in performing customer service duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask, responsible, positive attitude.
• Must be authorized to work in the US on an unlimited basis.

Reporting Relationships:

1. Reports directly to the President, Vice Presidents, and Operations Manager
2. Also works with: Warehouse staff and supervisors
3. Directly supervises: Some supervision duties may be required
